July 19 2022

As in any trip, choosing suitable accommodation is essential to be able to visit the destination, so if you are looking for a hotel in Huelva, we invite you to visit ILUNION Islantilla. Our hotel is very well located and has various facilities and activities that will make your rest more comfortable: gym, restaurant, pool bar, among many others.
A trip to Huelva will never be complete without taking a tour of its beaches. Bathed by the Atlantic, the beaches of Huelva are among the best in Andalusia, with their crystal clear water and fine golden sand. That is why we could not stop sharing what we consider to be the 4 beaches in Huelva that you can’t miss. Are we going to see them?
Islantilla Beach
It was one of the first beaches in Huelva to obtain the Q for Tourist Quality for its crystal clear water and the quality services it offers.
Getting to Islantilla beach is easy, and you will find it as soon as you leave the ILUNION Islantilla hotel. Ideal to go for a walk early in the morning or after having done some sports activity, such as paddle tennis, dance classes, or volleyball.
If you decide to walk along the promenade at the end of the day, you will surely be surprised by the wonderful sunset that you can see.
El Portil Beach
30 km from the hotel, you will find El Portil beach. With its 3600 meters long, it is surrounded by the Laguna de El Portil Nature Reserve, formed by the force of the wind and the tides on the dunes. It is a very quiet beach and perfects to spend a relaxing day with family and friends. And if in the afternoon, you feel like water activities such as having fun with your friends on the inflatable banana boat or surfing, they will be an ideal way to end the day with a laugh.
El Rompido Beach
Right at the mouth of the river and located in the Marismas del Rio Piedras Natural Park, you will find El Rompido beach.
You can get lost in the fishermen's village of Cartaya, and visit the lighthouse and Hermitage of Our Lady of Consolation. However, it is an area that does not have many services and facilities, so we recommend that you take advantage of your walk along this beach and, at lunchtime, look for a restaurant along the way where you can easily park your car or return to the hotel to enjoy our culinary proposals.
Punta Umbria Beach
With fine golden sand, surrounded by juniper and pine trees, with its warm waters and absence of winds, the beach of Punta Umbría is another one that you should not miss.
40 km from the hotel, it won't take long to find this urban beach, in the Marismas del Odiel Natural Park, easily accessible and surrounded by services such as its well-known bars and beach bars.
Now that you know which are the best beaches in Huelva, don't wait any longer and come and discover them. We await you with open arms at one of the most renowned hotels in Islantilla.
