The New Approach to Communicating Data Protection

INFORMATION ON THE PROCESSING OF VIDEO SURVEILLANCE DATA

In compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (GDPR), and Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December on the Protection of Personal Data and guarantee of digital rights (LOPDGDD), we inform you of the following:

1. Who is responsible for the processing of your data?
The data controller is the entity indicated on the video surveillance information boards located in the hotel where you are staying.

We have appointed a DATA PROTECTION DELEGATE COMMITTEE, who can be contacted by email at dpd@ilunion.com for all questions relating to the processing of your personal data and the exercise of your personal rights under the GDPR.

1. For what purpose and for how long do we process your data?
Your personal data will be processed for the PURPOSE OF VIDEO SURVEILLANCE AND FOR THE SAFETY AND SECURITY OF PERSONS, PROPERTY AND FACILITIES, through camera or video camera systems, fixed or mobile, capable of capturing and recording images, in order to check the status of facilities or property, control access to the building, car parks and garages.

The data shall be deleted within a maximum period of one (1) month from the date of their collection, except when they have to be kept to prove that acts have been committed against the integrity of persons, goods or installations, in which case they may be made available to the competent authority.

1. What is the legitimate basis on which we process your data?
The processing of your personal data when accessing our facilities is legitimate in the fulfilment of a mission of PUBLIC INTEREST (art. 6.1.e GDPR), insofar as through our video surveillance system we try to guarantee the safety of people, goods and facilities.

1. Do we share your data with third parties?
Your personal data WILL NOT BE TRANSFERRED TO THIRD PARTIES, unless required by law or, where appropriate, to State Security Forces and/or Judges and Courts. We will not transfer your data internationally.

1. What rights do you have over your data?
YOU MAY EXERCISE YOUR RIGHTS of access, erasure, limitation and opposition to processing, by sending a written communication by e-mail to protecciondatos@ilunion.com with the Ref. "Exercising Rights". If you consider that we have not adequately addressed your rights, you may file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or another competent supervisory authority, although we recommend that you first contact our Delegate Data Protection Committee (dpd@ilunion.com) in order to resolve any possible situation or conflict.
